Santa Barbara Dance Theater celebrates its 38th season as the resident professional dance company at UCSB, with TIME IN MOTION. The program features two premieres by Artistic Director Christopher Pilafian: Smolder and Spark to Shine, and a timeless modern masterpiece, The Moor's Pavane, by the late, great José Limón, directed by Professor Emerita Alice Condodina. In Pilafian's second year as director, the company moves forward and honors its heritage. The company members are Tracy R. Kofford, Christina Sanchez, Monica Ford, Kyle Castillo and Lindsay Mason in her first season with SBDT. Lighting and production design is by Michael Klaers.

For administrative purposes, online ticket sales for Santa Barbara Dance Theater closes at noon on the day of the performance and at noon on Fridays before weekend performances. To purchase tickets please call the Box Office at 805.893.2064 between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or arrive one hour prior to show time.
