Summer Dance Lab presents new works by UCSB faculty member Christina McCarthy and guest choreographers Meredith Cabaniss with her Santa Barbara based dance company Selah Dance Collective and Shenandoah Harris with her Los Angeles based company Psychopomp Dance Theater. The program offers a variety of approaches to dance from contemporary ballet to acrobatic explorations of weight sharing with hanging ropes. Showing in an intimate one hundred seat theater space, you will get an up close and personal view. Senior BFA student Kelly O'Connor will also be presenting a new piece.
