POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Department of Theater and Dance invites applications for teaching positions in the following areas of specialization: Acting, Directing, and the Business of Acting.
Work will be in person on the UCSB campus; compensation will not include travel and housing expenses. Information about the UCSB Department of Theater and Dance is available through the Department’s web page: http://www.theaterdance.ucsb.edu/
The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
The posting will remain open until March 31, 2024 to accommodate department needs. The pool will close on March 31, 2024; if you would like to continue to be considered after that time, and the pooled position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess, 1) An MFA degree in Theater or a related field, OR 2) At least 7 years experience in professional acting, directing and/or industry-related fields such as casting.
University teaching experience is preferred.
